Trickle down economics has been tried by Reagan and Bush with disastrous results. Brownback tried it in Kansas with devastating results.

The Congressional Research Service reviewed tax cuts since 1945 and found no evidence they generate economic growth. Bill Clinton raised taxes and the economy created more jobs than it did under Bush 43rd or Reagan. Conservatives will not put faith in history, science, surveys, statistics.
